Marketing objective

Optic Duroc is a medium sized French glasses chain. It is competes   both with large optical chains with generous advertizing budgets and with low cost on-liner retailers.The chain therefore required an affordable and efficient wayof comunicating and driving in-store traffic.

The campaign

The solution we offered relied on installingTag’by kiosks using 2 of the Tag’by applications.

Firstly, the kiosks displayed an attractive promotional message: a 50% discount on the 2nd pair of glasses… To get it, clients needed to create an Optic Duroc loyalty card while paying for their glasses. With it they could immediately publish the offer on Facebook for all of their friends to see. Those friends were then able to benefit from the same discount if they came to the store (they could even print the coupon with a single click on the on Facebook message).

The kiosks also allowed clients to post photos on Facebook with different pairs of glasses, which showed their friends the large selection available in the store.

Powerfull results

On average, 10% of the publications generated attracted a new client to the store.
